Why study spanish in Cusco?
It is important to mention that Spanish is the most spoken language in South America after the Spanish colonization, being Lima and Cusco the most important cities at this time since the Viceroyalty of Spain was established, and Peru is one of the countries where Spanish is the purest without strong accents as in other countries of South and Central America.
At present, Spanish is one of the most popular languages worldwide, being the second mother tongue in the world, after Mandarin Chinese and the fourth language in a global computation of speakers, after English, Mandarin Chinese and Hindi.
According to the latest report of the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language, there are 595 million potential users of Spanish in the world, of which 496 million people are native speakers, 75 million users have limited proficiency and more than 23 million people are learners of the Spanish language (ELE). In addition, 40% of these learners of the Spanish language are in countries where English is the official or co-official language, and Spanish is the third most used language in the UN and the second most used in the European Union.
OUR TEACHING METHODOLOGY AND LEARNING LEVELS
Our prestigious organization is constantly working on adapting our curriculum to the Common European Framework of Reference for Language Learning, since it is an accurate and universal model when evaluating the learning process of each of our students.
In our courses, we have the 5 levels of the Framework (A1, A2, B1, B2 and C1) in basic programs from one week to 24 weeks with 20, 30 to 40 hours of class, and we have also designed other programs for when reinforcement is necessary. To complete the C1 and C2 levels (CEFR, Mastery), we offer 3 programs of Special Spanish Courses including language, art, dance and culture associated to grammar, we also have programs based on specific uses of the language with courses that include internship for our students and courses that have specific purposes such as the DELE course, the Medical Spanish course and the Business Spanish course, and as if that were not enough, we also have a course aimed especially for children and teenagers who can enter this magnificent world of Spanish and can have another communicative alternative in Spanish-speaking countries.
We could not leave aside our complementary courses of Quechua, our ancestral language, and our Inca pottery course, which are also very popular among our students, giving them once again the opportunity to learn much more about our millenary culture.
But we know that our students always have high expectations, and to have a complete experience, our language center has several immersion programs with individual and group classes of 10, 20, 30 and up to 40 hours of class, where you can not only receive Spanish classes, but you can also live the culture, gastronomy, folklore and much more, with a host family in Cusco or live in a student house, you can also enjoy the best tourist attractions that Cusco, the Rome of America, offers you, or invest pleasantly with volunteer programs to help the Cusco community, as well as children and animals.
In making this description, our language center tries to provide a specific study plan and above all to solve questions and doubts that many of our students may have when deciding to study or reinforce their knowledge of Spanish in our school. How long can I learn Spanish? How will I progress learning Spanish in the weeks to come? What is my current level and how much time do I need to achieve the DELE B1 or C2? What level do I need to go to university, to work or simply to live in a Spanish speaking country? We hope to have solved many of the doubts of our current and future Spanish students with this selected information.

Peru was chosen for the seventh consecutive year as the “Best Culinary Destination in the World” in the WORLD TRAVEL AWARDS (WTA). TYPICAL FRUIT TASTING
As we have many altitudinal climates in our country as well as in our city, we have a great variety of fresh and tropical fruits, producing 56 varieties nationwide, of which 29 can be found to a lesser or greater degree during the twelve months of the year, something that we cannot see in other countries, being a great opportunity for our students to taste them, perhaps for the first time.

TASTING OF HANDCRAFTED BEER
Since ancient times we have seen that the Incas have produced natural beer from corn, having the chicha de jora is spanish, at present the techniques of production have been perfected, using variety of products like sauco, airampo, kiwicha, quinoa, amaranth, pollen and many other products clearly Andean, that our students will be able to have the possibility of proving in our day of tasting.

CINEMA EVENINGS
Films present language in a more natural way than that found in textbooks, the visual context improves understanding and improves listening, in this way, students learn a second language in an easy and fun way, which is a motivation for them; it is for this reason, we have implemented a movie theater, where both national and international films are shown on weekday afternoons, complementing the learning done in the classrooms.

KARAOKE AFTERNOONS
Orality in Spanish classes is fundamental when teaching and learning the Spanish language, helping our students to develop more easily and naturally based on the communicative approach, and having these aspects clear; we have implemented our karaoke room, using it on a weekday afternoon, complementing the learning done in the classroom.

SPORTS AFTERNOONS
We are at the forefront of education and conducting research in the field, we have come to the conclusion that, when practicing a physical activity, it also helps to learn a new language, it seems a little confusing the relationship, but physical exercises improve the plasticity of the brain, thereby increasing the ability to learn, that is why we complement the learning of Spanish with sports afternoons where they can play soccer or other sport with their teachers and other students.
